Golf: Phil Stones hopes to see club on a roll

PHIL STONES from Parkgate, a former managing director of a national finance company, is the 2008 captain of Bromborough.

Stones, married with twin boys, who also play golf, and a daughter, played tennis badminton and squash and started playing golf when his children went to college.

“I wanted something a little bit more relaxed than racket sports,” he says.

He is a member of the marketing committee at Bromborough, where his wife Christine is also a member.
