Robinson third in Merit list

SOUTHPORT and Ainsdale’s James Robinson was the leading local finisher on the Mitsushiba Northern Order of Merit.
The England international finished third overall from a limited number of appearances. Liam Ball won his first Merit title with a borrowed set of clubs at the Bolton Old Links Trophy, the final fixture.
