Lancashire teenagers Kelly Tidy and Nikki Foster set to play for England in Home Internationals at Fairhaven Golf Club from August 4-6

TEENAGERS Kelly Tidy from Royal Birkdale and Accrington’s Nikki Foster, have been called up by England for the Home Internationals at Fairhaven next month.

Tidy, who has represented England in the Junior Ryder Cup, has twice been runner-up in the British Girls and reached the third round of this season’s British Amateur.

She has a reserve place in the GB&I team for the Vagliano Trophy.

Foster, part of the all-conquering Lancashire Ladies team which won the northern championship at Heswall, reached the matchplay stage of the British and English championships and finished in the top 10 of the Welsh Open Strokeplay.
