Wirral’s D1 Oils site goes back on the market

A FORMER biodiesel complex in Wirral is being put back on the market after a deal to sell it collapsed.

Owner D1 Oils has jointly instructed King Sturge and Newman Property Consultants to re-market the site at Wirral International Business Park in Bromborough.

The 49-acre site in Dock Road South is available on a part freehold/part long leasehold basis and has 158,000 sq ft of useable built accommodation including production facilities, warehousing, laboratories, and office and staff amenities.

The site also has in-situ plant and equipment, which can be adapted for a number of related manufacturing purposes.

Built in the 1950s, the complex was a former Lubrizol “heavy lubes” site, which was later acquired by D1 Oils in January 2007, for production of biodiesel.
