PRINTER and marketing services provider Communisis said trading for the year was in line with its expectations, in a market update today.
The firm said it enjoyed a strong second half due to tight cost control and progress by its sales team in developing its marketing services provider offering.
A key success has been a major contract win, among several others, with the Nationwide building society which will deliver a fourfold increase in annual revenues to around £10m in 2012.
Under the terms of the deal Communisis has assumed responsibility for 15 staff at Nationwide’s Swindon offices delivering creative and marketing communication services.
Communisis, which operates a printing plant on Speke’s Estuary Commerce Park, said in the final quarter of 2011 it achieved Gold Certification from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, adding: “Communisis is proud to be one of only 13 companies to have achieved this prestigious standard”.
