WIRRAL-BASED call centre operator The Contact Company has won a deal to handle calls on behalf of Sky TV’s The Jewellery Channel.
It was awarded the contract after a series of meetings between The Jewellery Channel, and chief executive Asif Hamid and managing director Juliet Rhodes.
Mr Hamid said: “Securing such a major contract like the one with The Jewellery Channel clearly demonstrates that even though we are a young firm we are more than capable of matching a client brief.”
The Jewellery Channel went live on Sky TV in April, 2006, providing high-quality jewellery at affordable prices.
High demand has led to it extending its operating hours, now starting at 8am going all the way through to 3am.
John Simpson, the channel’s European managing director, said: “Considering we know we are working with people with a proven track record in customer services, we are more than confident The Contact Company has the ability to improve the overall service we have to offer to our customers.”
