Primary Care Trust takes Wavertree lease

LIVERPOOL Primary Care Trust has taken a 10-year lease at Northern Trust’s Wavertree Technology Park.

Liverpool PCT will be moving into the 22,900 sq ft office building at Vortex Court which forms one of three detached office buildings totalling 56,000 sq ft developed by Northern Trust in two phases.

The trust, which came into existence in October 2006, brings together services offered by GPs, community nurses, other community services and other agencies dealing with health issues across Liverpool.

Mike Grindrod, development director at Northern Trust, said: “We are delighted to have the PCT as a tenant at Vortex Court.

“This transaction was one of Liverpool’s largest out-of-town office lettings in 2007, which reinforces the quality of this development and its location.

“Communications played a large part in the PCT’s decision to locate at Vortex Court, with the proximity to the M62 and the rail station providing ease of access for staff and visitors.”

Joint agents are Irving Rice and GVA Grimley.
