MERSEYSIDE’S green business champions have less than three weeks to go to enter the Northwest Business Environment Awards 2008.
The awards aim to honour people who have put the environment at the heart of their company’s success.
Categories include Built Environment, Sustainable Procurement, Environmental Innovation and Environmental Champions.
The awards ceremony in June will be hosted by the Mersey Basin Campaign and the North West Development Agency.
Campaign chief executive Walter Menzies said: “Today’s forward-thinking businesses know all about the importance of looking after the environment. They appreciate that caring for the planet can help their profit margins.”
