TWO Merseyside students have reached the national final of a Dragon’s Den-style roadshow to discover Britain’s best young entrepreneurial talent.
Jonathan Smith, 19, of Ormskirk, and David Austin, 16, of Liverpool, were crowned winners at the Ideas Igloo Roadshow event at Liverpool Community College this week.
Students took part in a morning of innov- ation workshops before pitching their ideas to a panel of judges, including Anna Heyes, founder of Liverpool market- ing and PR consult- ancy Active Profile, and Daily Post business reporter Alistair Houghton.
Jonathan and David won for their UPlay idea to provide a “pay before you play” area for young people.
