THE construction group behind some of the biggest regeneration projects in Merseyside, Balfour Beatty, has boosted its order book with new contracts worth £606m.
Balfour’s US arm will renovate and extend a national military medical centre in Maryland with American partner Clark Construction.
Other US work is in Virginia, Florida and California.
Balfour yesterday posted stronger-than-expected annual profits of £201m, up 48%, and said its order book improved 25% to £11.4bn.
