£3m in revenues for software specialists Bluefin
A FIRM specialising in software consultancy says its Liverpool office is on course to generate up to £3m in revenues in just its second year of operation.
London-based Bluefin set up its first regional office in Liverpool about a year and a half ago.
It employs more than 20 people in the Plaza office complex, in the city’s Old Hall Street.
The company is a specialist SAP consultancy. SAP is software that allows companies to integrate different software packages across their organisation.
Bluefin’s experts can help tailor SAP technology to suit the needs to each client.
Their client list includes Unilever, Network Rail, Yell and BAe.
Chief executive James Appleby told the Daily Post it was important for the company to set up an office in the North West from which they could service clients across the north of England.
“We wanted to set up somewhere we felt was fast moving and dynamic, and Liverpool seemed to fit the bill,” he said. The team, which comprises about 25 permanent staff and up to another ten who come in and out, is led by Liverpool-born Mark Buchanan.
He said: “We have made fantastic progress here already and we are looking to achieve around 50% growth year-on-year.”
