GAMING company Sportech says it is ahead of schedule with the integration of Vernons Pools into its football pools business.
At the Liverpool company’s annual general meeting yesterday, chairman Piers Pottinger said the company was continuing to trade in line with expectations and said it had made “good progress” in the first six months of the year.
Last week Sportech, which also owns the Littlewoods and Zetters pools brands, announced a partnership deal with gaming giant 888 Holdings to market football pools to almost 5m people around the world.
The company is rebranding its pools games as The New Football Pools as it bids to expand its customer base.
Mr Pottinger said: “The rebranding of the football pools businesses is on target to be launched across our entire football gaming suite”
