THE Liverpool office of accountancy and business services group Baker Tilly has app- ointed Mark Beadles to lead its new tax investigations department.

Mr Beadles will advise individuals and businesses from across the region on their dealings with the tax authorities. Before working at KPMG, Mark was an Inspector of Taxes with HM Revenue & Customs for 14 years.

MARKETING agency Clarity Creation has appointed Mehdi Hassan as a web designer to boost its online division.

Liverpool John Moores University graduate Mr Hassan, 22, will work on accounts including the Learning and Skills Council, Downing and Halton Borough Council.

DEVELOPER Nep- tune has appoint- ed Barry Williams, 32, as development manager.

LJMU grad-uate Mr Wil- liams, orig- inally from Angle- sey, joins Neptune from a similar role at Country- side Properties. Nep- tune’s ongoing devel-opments include Mann Island, in Liverpool, and Liverpool Science Park.

SOLICITOR Jane Gunnion has joined specialist property practice Rees-Roberts Solicitors. Ms Gunnion, who has 25 years of civil litigation experience, has specialist knowledge of risk management and compliance strategies and will act in a supporting management role. India Buildings-based Rees-Roberts was established in 2001 by Phil Rees-Roberts, following his eight years as a partner in the Liverpool office of Berrymans Lace Mawer.

PROPERTY consultants Keppie Massie has recruited Andrew Byrne as graduate surveyor.

Mr Byrne, a former pupil at Merchant Taylor’s and an LJMU graduate, is working alongside Stuart Keppie, Rupert Lowe and Tony Reed in the agency department.
