A PERSONAL assistant from Liverpool has been shortlisted for a prestigious national PA of the Year award.
Julie Fowler, an assurance PA from the Liverpool office of Price- waterhouseCoopers, was one of ten PAs shortlisted for the award.
She said: “I was delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award against such strong competition.”
She has worked for the firm in the city for 25 years and has led the Liverpool branch of PwC’s network for PAs.
Her employer was also recognised, being named Employer of the Year for its PwC Secretary programme.
Paul Christian, assurance director at PwC in Liverpool, said: “I’m delighted that Julie has been recognised for her efforts, which is testament to the hard work she has put in over the last 25 years together with leading the PAs network programme for Liverpool. Our secretaries provide a vital service to keep our business running smoothly and efficiently. Winning this award is a great accolade for PwC, and wouldn’t be possible without the fantastic contribution of people like Julie.”
The award, part of the annual Executive PA Magazines Awards, is billed as the most important recognition event for PAs nationwide.
