COMMERCIAL property agency CB Richard Ellis has established a business line to offer loan and corporate recovery advice.
The North West team, which forms part of a national service and is based out of the firm’s Liverpool and Manchester offices, has been set up in response to increased distress within the real estate environment brought on by declining values and weakening occupier sentiment.
The multi disciplinary team has access to all service lines and is made up of representatives from the valuation, professional, residential and alternative investment departments. It will be led jointly by directors, Chris Weights and Shaun Skidmore.
Mr Weights said: “Banks are increasingly scrutinising their debt books to identify the level of exposure on individual and company loans.
“Our team has been set up to advise lenders and borrowers.”
