A WEST Lancashire hotel is offering rooms for sale to businesses and investors as it looks to expand.

Holland Hall Hotel, in Upholland, is a 30-bedroom hotel and restaurant complex, but is adding more rooms and developing the restaurant and bar areas.

After looking for additional ways to raise the funding itself, it is now one of the first hotels in the area offering their hotel bedrooms for sale.

Investors who purchase a room will receive a guaranteed return in the first three years after which the owner will receive 50% of sales.

Managing director Ron Jones said: “There are a whole host of people who are already interested in buying hotel rooms – some people buy for pure investment and return purposes, while others see it as an alternative to purchasing buy to let homes.

“In addition to these, football clubs and many companies, for example, own a number of properties for players and staff to use, but in doing so they have the added hassle of looking after the security, monthly bills and any repairs.

“Buying a hotel room enables them to gain the same benefits and takes all the maintenance away.”
