LEVI ROOTS, the inventor of the TV programme Dragons Den’s most successful product yet – will be in Liverpool next week to talk about becoming an entrepreneur.
The founder of the Reggae Reggae sauce brand will be joined by Mersey TV founder Phil Redmond and Justine Mills, owner of fashion house Cricket. Mr Roots’s sauce has sold more than 2m bottles since its launch, following his deal with Dragon investors Peter Jones and Richard Farleigh.
“I’m delighted to be involved in this project and hope that, by sharing my experience of time in the Dragons’ Den, I’ll be able to give others the confidence to take their ideas forward,” he said.
“Who knows how many undiscovered entrepreneurs are out there right now?”
The event, held at Liverpool’s Empire Theatre next Tuesday, from 4pm-6pm, is aimed at all businesses.
