Getting a new take on iPhones

THE region’s digital industries must learn to take advantage of the opportunities offered by Apple’s iPhone, say the organisers of a conference.
Liverpool John Moores University’s International Centre for Digital Content (ICDC) is holding the free Amazing iPhone event on December 5. The event, organised with Liverpool consultancy Kisky Netmedia, aims to help companies rethink mobile design services and applications for the iPhone.
Jason Taylor, ICDC head of production, said: “The digital content industry in the North West has the potential to be one of the greatest in the world.”
The event would give businesses the knowledge and expertise to shape technological know-how into sound commercial applications.
The Daily Post recently launched its own LDP Mobile site so readers can download the latest news on all phones set up for mobile internet, including iPhones.
