Treasury Minister and Wallasey MP Angela Eagle defends the government's record on managing the economy under fire from City of LIverpool Conservative Party chairman, textile manufacturer Tony Caldeira.
The pair lock horns on the programme ahead of Monday's Pre-Budget Report by Chancellor Alistair Darling, which is expected to herald major tax cuts in a bid to reinvigorate Britain's struggling economy.
The debate takes place during LDP Business Week, aired at 11am on CityTalk 105.9fm and digital radio.
