LIVERPOOL marketing firm Bell Pottinger North has recruited former BBC presenter Roger Summerskill to support its bid to expand its work in Wirral, Cheshire and North Wales.
Mr Summerskill spent 30 years at the BBC, presenting its Radio Merseyside breakfast programme for six years, and also worked at Radio 5 Live.
He has also carried out public relations and media training.
Mr Summerskill, who lives in New Brighton, joins former BBC Radio Merseyside colleagues Richard Clein and Pippa Davies at Bell Pottinger North.
Mr Clein said: “It’s been a great year for the Liverpool office and Roger’s involvement means we can go into next year with renewed optimism. New clients are coming on board which proves the importance of public relations in a recession.”
