A NEW Business Hub in the heart of Liverpool’s business district has celebrated its launch with the announcement of its first three clients.
Liverpool Vision, the city’s regeneration agency, management consultancy Moore Fleming and RJ Lewis Management Services, have signed up to the facility which is being opened by Runcorn’s Heath Business and Technical Park – SOG – and Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU).
Situated in Hatton Garden, it will provide an “office away from the office”, including full office support facilities and business advice.
Guests speakers at the launch included Liverpool businessman Gary Millar, of Parr Street Studios; LJMU Vice-Chancellor Professor Michael Brown; and SOG managing director Dr Peter Cook. The evening also featured the announcement of the three LJMU students who were winners of “The Art of Business” art competition, launched specially to mark the opening of The Hub.
Manager Shiv Emmimath said: “The Hub has attracted a great deal of interest and I’m delighted we have marked the opening by signing up our first clients. We have an excellent product which I am sure is going to be useful to a wide range of businesses.”
