LIVERPOOL-BASED Nobles Construction has secured contracts totalling more than £3m.
Work has started at four schools across the North West, including Bishop Eton in Woolton, Liverpool, St Mary’s in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester, St John Fisher in Widnes and Christ the King in Bromborough, Wirral.
Bishop Eton will receive £220,000-worth of improvements, involving the construction of a two-classroom extension to the existing school and the redevelopment of the car parking facilities. Work is due for completion in April.
St Mary’s Primary School, the largest contract at £2.5m, will be entirely re-constructed to replace the existing school which will subsequently be demolished.
The shortest contract is with Christ the King school, worth £115,000, which involves a single classroom extension to the existing school, due for completion in January.
