Trainer scoops prestige award

THE best trainer in Anfield doesn’t wear the red of Liverpool FC – instead, she runs an IT consultancy.

Julia Emelogu, director of Liverpool-based Maximum Impact Solutions, has been named as freelance trainer of the year at the Institute of IT Training awards in London.

Her company, which she founded in 2001, provides training and consultancy for business intelligence reporting solutions, such as SQL Reporting Services. It enables firms to extract, analyse and report against their business operational data.

Miss Emelogu said: “I believe that great, customercentric training can increase performance, make employees feel valued and confident, and so the organisation can become more competitive, effective and efficient.”

The judges said: “You only have one chance to make a first impression – and Julia’s fantastic energy, passion and commitment go to make the first impression of her so positive.

“She is determined to provide a rich learning experience and by providing flexibility, contextualisation and post course support, and she fulfils the goal completely.”
