World famous Disney Institute brings winning techniques to Warrington in link up with NWDA and Cheshire and Warrington Economic Alliance

THE people who brought you Mickey Mouse and Pluto are to provide an insight into excellence for North West business leaders.

The Disney Institute is part of the eponymous global entertainment corporation, and is renowned for helping some of the world’s biggest names in commerce, manufacturing and service industries to develop business-boosting approaches to communication and leadership.

And in a deal with regeneration body The North-west Development Agency and Cheshire and Warrington Economic Alliance (CWEA), the institute has agreed to deliver two half-day master classes to business leaders around the region at the Warrington Wolves Halliwell Jones Stadium on March 18 and 19.

George Aguel, senior vice president for Walt Disney World, said: “We’re bringing a completely new learning experience for the business community in the North West.

“The master classes will look at proven Disney practices that can be easily applied to other organisations, with a focus on ways to generate innovative ideas, use simple tools to enhance creativity and improve the overall skill level of teams.

“The end result is a professional development experience that’s as entertaining as it is informative.”

CWEA chief executive Martin Lee added: “We’re thrilled to be able to achieve this UK ‘first’ in offering a unique learning experience that can usually only be accessed direct from a Disney location.”
