CONTACT centre operator Vertex is to work with Knowsley Council to fill some of its 600 job vacancies in Kirkby.
The council will use its Knowsley Works programme to help Vertex identify suitable potential employees while also offering support to candidates with transferable skills, regardless of their previous experience.
Nick Kavanagh, Knowsley Council’s director for the economy, said: “Generating new business opportunities and business growth is a major part of the council’s plans to secure an even stronger economy for Knowsley. Our relationship illustrates the real value of partnership working.”
