200 business people attend Liverpool Access to Finance seminar

MORE than 200 business people attended a seminar in Liverpool designed to help firms find funding and support amid the credit crunch and recession.

The Access to Finance event was organised by Professional Liverpool and attendees included business owners, corporate financiers, bankers and lawyers. Advisors from the Professional Liverpool Corporate Finance Group were on hand and speakers came from Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays, Enterprise Ventures, Alliance Fund Managers and the NWDA.

Professional Liverpool chief executive Mark Chadwick said: “It’s not just about cash flow, facilities and credit lines. Difficult financial periods can be overcome with sophisticated financial planning, and sound information from professional advisors is therefore essential.”
