BUSINESS pressure and lobby group, Downtown Liverpool in Business (DLIB) is this week holding a party to celebrate its fifth year in the city.
The organisation was established in 2004 by former Labour politician Frank McKenna.
It has organised more than 100 events, attracted over 1,000 companies and offered its members the opportunity to hear from some of the region’s leading entrepreneurs and decision-makers.
Based in Water Street, DLIB, which has earned a reputation as a champion of business-friendly causes, has provided members with “Sexy Networking” evenings, the Property and Enterprise Forum, Liverpool Business Oscars and the Livercool Awards.
DLIB is holding an exclusive party for its members at Chameleon bar, on Back Colquitt Street, on Thursday.
Chairman Mr McKenna said: “All of this work has only been possible because of the support from our members.
“I would like to take this opportunity of thanking all of them for sticking with ‘the business club with attitude’.”
