LIVERPOOL accountancy firm Haines Watts is offering a free service to help businesses slash their bills.
The service, which is called Expense Control, is specifically designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Partner Frank Murphy, who is based at the company’s Victoria Street office in the city, told LDP Business: “Our Expense Control department has teamed up with a number of respected companies to offer savings of more than 20% across a range of overhead spend categories.
“These range from office supplies and telecoms to utilities and vehicles.
“Most SMEs are aware that they don’t necessarily have the resources to negotiate the best deals available.
“They are busy managing their core activities, and have neither the time nor specialist knowledge to deal with this effectively.
“This is where we step in and assist them, taking full advantage of our supply agreements.”
