THERE are some places remaining at the Liverpool Daily Post Regional Business Awards dinner, which takes place four weeks today.
Sir Richard Needham, the director for international and commercial affairs at Dyson, is the keynote speaker at the awards dinner at St George’s Hall, Liverpool, on Wednesday, June 24.
The former Minister of Trade will address the 500-strong audience of business leaders from across the region, and Liverpool-born Peter Sissons will host the event, which will see nine awards handed out.
There are three awards for businesses based on their size.
The O2 Small Business of the Year is for firms with up to 50 staff, the Business Link North West Medium Business award is for companies with between 51 and 250 staff, and the KPMG Business of the Year award is for large businesses.
Firms that are finding success in specific areas will be recognised by the Liverpool Vision Investment of the Year, UK Trade & Investment Exporter of the Year and Liverpool John Moores University Knowledge Business of the Year awards.
The University of Liverpool Corporate Social Responsibility and the Royal Mail Green awards are for socially-aware firms. There is also an award for an individual – the DLA Piper Business Person of the Year award.
