ST HELENS Chamber has signed up as a key partner to the UK’s first World Trade Week.
Working with the Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, the chamber will be hosting a special event with employment minister Tony McNulty to look at how international trade can boost jobs and growth in St Helens.
Designed to help businesses break into new markets, the event is open to all companies with an interest in expanding their business overseas and identifying new opportunities in international trade.
Chamber chief executive Kath Boullen said: “Free and open trade is of vital importance to the recovery of our economy and we are pleased to be delivering this event.”
The seminar will take place on Monday, June 8 at 9.30am at St Helens Chamber.
