A SCHEME to find jobs for Knowsley people who are out of work is celebrating its 100th success story.
A link-up between Knowsley Council, a social enterprise and Asda supermarket, has secured jobs for a variety of people who have had problems finding work. The Green Apprentices agency works with Asda to secure openings and the Council’s Knowsley Works programme identifies the long-term jobless who might be suitable. It has now led to 100 people finding permanent work.
