A LIVERPOOL furniture maker has been selected to feature as a key part of a worldwide marketing campaign.
Aura, based in Sefton Park, has designed a sofa on a Russian Palace theme, which will be used in the global marketing of Warwick Fabrics.
The company exports interior upholstery and window covering textiles to more than 50 countries.
“The designer wanted something really different,” said Paula Smith, who co-owns Aura with her husband, Darren Connolly. “The marketing goes worldwide and we are expecting it to give us a larger slice of the market.”
The couple have more than 20 years’ experience making chairs and sofas to order, and in February opened their first showroom.
Ms Smith said: “We are a lot more visible since we opened our showroom. It’s resulted in a few more orders.”
The showroom was facilitated by business support initiative Dream High, which gave marketing support and helped the firm to access funding.
