MORE than 100 properties will go under the hammer at Sutton Kersh’s latest Liverpool property auction.
Lots on offer include a garage, a cemetery lodge and a pub, as well as some buy-to-let and redevelopment opportunities.
The auction, taking place at 12 noon on Thursday, June 25, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool city centre, will commence with bidding for the Parrott Public House, carrying a guide of £30,000.
The three-storey detached vacant property is in Scotland Road, in Everton.
Lot 4 is The Toxteth Cemetery Lodge, located at the Smithdown Road entrance to Toxteth Cemetery. The vacant two-storey detached building is Grade II listed and is in need of repair, renovation and modernisation. It carries a guide price of £100,000.
Sutton Kersh sold 73% of the 80 lots offered at its May auction.
James Kersh, director of auctions at Sutton Kersh, said: “House prices increased again in May. This is the second time in three months and demonstrates a marked improvement in the market.
“While this is only a short-term trend, it is positive news and may be an indication of the market turning.”
After the property auction, Sutton Kersh will be bringing down the hammer on 96 pieces of certified diamond jewellery and loose stones at its second IBid Diamonds Sale this year.
