A CHESTER area price comparison business is dipping its toe into the lucrative cruise market.
Travelsupermarket.com, part of Moneysupermarket.com, which operates out of Ewloe, has introduced a new cruise offering as part a major revamp – and hopes the move will drive more business its way. It has completed an exclusive deal with independent cruise retailer Cruise118, based in Chorley, Lancashire, to provide cruise holidays on its website.
The site is an online service where customers can compare the prices of flights, car hire, hotels and package holidays and make a purchase over the internet. It searches hundreds of travel websites with the aim of getting customers the best deal. Cruising is currently the fastest-growing sector of the travel market, and almost 1.5m Britons took a cruise holiday, up 11% on the previous year.
