Inclusive Lifestyles opens £500,000 specialist facility in Wallasey

INCLUSIVE Lifestyles has opened a specialist £500,000 unit in Wirral to care for autistic adults, after securing funding from The Royal Bank of Scotland’s Healthcare team.

The company has transformed a large Victorian property, in Wellington Road, in Wallasey, into a facility that provides specialist 24-hour care for users with complex learning difficulties and for those diagnosed as on the autism spectrum disorder.

The property has been transformed over a three-month period to fully cater for the needs of its residents and to ensure regulatory compliance.

Inclusive Lifestyles was established in 2003 and is a provider of care services to people with complex needs across Wirral and North Wales.

The Chester-based company’s other properties include Merchant House, a six-bed facility in Birkenhead for adults with learning difficulties, and Oakmere, in Deeside, which caters for adults who are on the autistic spectrum disorder.

The RBS Healthcare team, in Liverpool, provided funding for the refurbishment project. RBS relationship manager Dave Hall said: “This is a particularly important project, given the highly specialised nature of the care.”
