Liverpool Daily Post & Echo holds ‘It’s Our World’ networking event

THE Liverpool Daily Post & Echo is holding a networking event next week in support of Liverpool’s Year of the Environment.

The event marks the launch of a partnership between the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo’s new environment platform – It’s Our World – and The Prince’s May Day Network in Merseyside.

The May Day Network, convened by Business in the Community and working closely with the CBI and North West Business Leadership Team, is the largest group of businesses collectively committed to taking action on climate change in the UK.

The event is taking place on Tuesday, June 30, from 5.30-7pm, at the Atrium at the Post & Echo in Old Hall Street.

It will be hosted by Alastair Machray, editor-in-chief, Trinity Mirror Merseyside, and will draw together key people from business and the public sector and provide an overview of It’s Our World. Sara Wilde, managing director of Trinity Mirror North West, will share the experiences of Trinity Mirror in successfully reducing carbon emissions.

Delegates will be able to find out about The Prince’s May Day Network and join on the night to access free guidance on how to address climate change and save money through improved resource efficiency.
