A MERSEYSIDE entrepreneur has been recognised by the Prince’s Trust for her work as a business mentor.
Julia Emelogu, director of IT training and consultancy Maximum Impact Solutions (MIS), has been named as Prince’s Trust North West Mentor of the Year.
She mentors three Prince’s Trust-funded businesses, acts as a specialist IT business mentor, sits on the business funding panels and contributes to business skills day training.
Emelogu, who founded MIS in 2001, said: “When I set up Maximum Impact Solutions, I always wanted to give something back. When I look at the achievements of my life, this has only been possible by people taking an interest, nurturing my potential and going the extra mile for me.”
A donation from the Martin and Judith Ainscough Charity Trust was split between two charities, Amadudu and Anfield Breckfield Community Council.
