WIRRAL specialist manufacturer Heap & Partners will move its headquarters after securing £500,000 of bank funding.

Heap & Partners is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of fluid control equipment and has been in existence since 1866

Operating from five offices around the United Kingdom, located in Wirral, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Teesside, it has shipped goods all over the world for more than 130 years.

Since 2001, the company has supplied equipment to over 80 different countries. Between them, the current employees boast 737 years’ experience in the fluid handling industry. The move into Canada Works, in Birkenhead, has been made possible after the firm secured funding from Barclays Commercial Bank, in Merseyside.

“In the current economic climate, it is important to still be making the correct long-term decisions, and Barclays are supporting us in this,” said director David Millar. “Recently, we approached them for finance to acquire and upgrade our new premises. They helped us through the whole process with the minimum of fuss and we got the funds we needed. We can now increase our capacity and maintain our ambitious growth plans.”
