Liverpool charity offers free fitness service to city firms

A LIVERPOOL charity is launching a new programme to improve the health and fitness of city workers.

Health@Work, in partnership with the Liverpool PCT, is to work with employers and employees to improve the work environment, culture and health of employees.

The Health, Work and Wellbeing (HWWB) programme is a service free to any Liverpool-based business. Participating organisations will receive advice and guidance in everything from improving diet, health and fitness in the workplace, to putting in place health and safety policies and tackling work-related health problems.

Keith Gorman, programme manager at Health@Work said: “This new programme will give companies a complete health overhaul.”
