CHILDREN’S store chain Toys R Us will be recruiting 4,000 seasonal staff from October for the Christmas period, including 55 in Liverpool at its Paisley Street store.
The group said jobs will be open to applicants of all ages and many Christmas casuals go on to permanent jobs with the chain.
The company is also introducing a graduate talent development programme to provide work experience and skills development opportunities for graduates who want a career in retail.
Toys R Us will also be opening its 74th and 75th stores next month, with new outlets in Exeter and Kirkcaldy.
The US-based firm opened its first UK store 25 years ago.
