AGENTS are marketing a “heavenly” opportunity for businesses to move into blessed premises.
Church House, in Hanover Street, in Liverpool city centre, has undergone a £500,000 refurbishment, bringing the historic building into the 21st century.
The Grade II-listed building is still owned by the Diocese of Liverpool and has been developed as a joint venture between the diocese and Liverpool developers TJ Thomas Estates. Joint agents are Mason Owen and Honeybourne Kenny.
It offers 7,500 sq ft of office space on three upper floors, together with 5,000 sq ft of commercial space on the ground floor.
Mason Owen’s Andrew Owen said: “This is a superb building, in terms of specification, location and price.
“We are already in talks with a number of businesses who are keen to further explore the opportunity here and we are expecting to announce three confirmed tenants in the near future, including one of the city’s leading PR agencies.”
Church House sits at the apex of Liverpool One and the creative quarter of the Ropewalks.
The ground floor is already taken up by Bistro France.
There is a second retail unit available on the ground floor, comprising 1,885 sq ft. The improvements sit alongside many of the original features which have been retained where possible, including the very unusual altar.
A spokesperson for the Diocese of Liverpool said: “This was the home of the Diocese of Liverpool for many years, so it is a very significant building for us.”
