A TWO-TIME BAFTA winner and a global design guru will be among the speakers confirmed for this year’s Liverpool Design Symposium.
Event organisers have revealed the full line-up of speakers for the event, which will take place at Liverpool John Moores University’s Art and Design Academy, on November 4.
The headline speaker at the event, called Branding the City, will be designer and Wolff Olins co-founder Michael Wolff.
Another key speaker is double BAFTA winner Andy Chambers, who founded digital design agency Digit.
Mr Chambers, who has recently worked with brands including Shell and Marks & Spencer, will give a talk called “Debranding Our Cities – Why brands must be in flux to be interesting”.
The Symposium was originally created by Liverpool agencies Uniform and Smiling Wolf.
It is now supported by national industry organisations D&AD and DBA, as well as local support bodies Merseyside ACME and Design Initiative.
The event is part of the wider Liverpool Design Festival, which will see a series of events held throughout the city.
