A TEAM from Liverpool commercial agency Mason Owen competed in the recent Dragonboat Challenge event at West Kirby Marina.
They and Team Birkers took part in the event in memory of partner Steve Birkby, who died earlier this year.
Mr Birkby was a resident of Hoylake and a keen sailor.
The event is organised by Calday Grammar school with the 2009 chosen charity being the RNLI Hoylake Lifeboat fund.
