Property expert sets up new consultancy

BILL ADDY has stepped down from Liverpool property firm Iliad to start his own business.

Mr Addy has quit his job as Iliad’s group business development director to start a consultancy service offering advice about all aspects of property development, including applying for planning permission and raising money.

His new business will trade as The Addy Consultancy.

“My aim is to provide the glue that will allow developments to happen.

“I am talking to a lot of people I have worked with in the past,” Mr Addy said.

He has worked in the property industry, on both commercial and residential schemes, for 30 years and before joining Iliad was group business director at David McLean, when he persuaded the company to form a joint venture with Mersey Docks and Harbour Company to develop Liverpool’s Princes Dock, including the Crowne Plaza hotel and the development’s first office building at No 8, St Nicholas Place.
