A MERSEYSIDE food distribution company has taken two new industrial units totalling over 21,000 sq ft in Knowsley following further expansion.
AD Retail has let the units from Langtree on the second phase of its Alchemy Business Park, which fronts the A580 East Lancashire Road.
Alan Dale, director at AD Retail, said: “The decision to relocate from Speke to Knowsley became a certainty once we viewed the opportunity at Alchemy.
“The new units are built to a very high specification and give the right impression for our business.”
Langtree speculatively built the development as part of its partnership with Knowsley Council, and the scheme comprises more than 97,000 sq ft of industrial accommodation on a 25-acre site with further space of 15 acres for more accommodation on the site.
Alchemy has been funded through a £2.1m contribution from the Objective One.
