Event for girls who want to be engineers

GIRLS interested in engineering Apprenticeships are being urged to attend an event in Merseyside next week.

Aimhigher Greater Merseyside Vocational Progression Routes Programme, in partnership with Jaguar Land Rover, is running an event offering information and advice.

The day will include general information on engineering Apprenticeships and a tour of the Jaguar plant.

The day is aimed at girls within years 11,12 and 13 from schools, sixth forms and colleges across Merseyside. Parents are welcome to attend.

The event is taking place at Jaguar, Speke Boulevard, on Thursday, November 19, 2009, from 9.30am to 1pm.
