MARKS & Spencer executive chairman Sir Stuart Rose was the guest speaker at the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce annual dinner held in the Anglican Cathedral last night.
He spoke on “Plan A – Doing the Right Thing” which addressed environmental and social issues and was pertinent to Liverpool’s Year of the Environment.
Chamber of chairman Ed Oliver also presented the award for Business of the Year to the Liverpool Echo Arena & BT Convention Centre. The award recognises the firm that has made the greatest contribution to the city’s economy in the past 12 months.
