PROMOTIONS company Access Point UK has signed a new deal with Homebase and Netto to sell advertising space on the back of the chains’ till rolls.
The company, which also offers promotional pitches for marketing staff in supermarkets and car parks, already works with a number of companies, including Morrisons.
Director David Robertshaw said: “Reverse till receipt advertising is becoming an increasingly popular medium for non-competing businesses to communicate directly with specific demographics of shoppers.
“This is especially true at this time of year when consumers are traditionally on the look-out for discounts, vouchers and money off coupons.
“The use of coupons in the UK has been steadily rising and gaining momentum – it’s clearly becoming more socially acceptable following the continued rise of online money saving and price comparison websites.”
