WINWICK Quay Business Park, in Warrington, has received planning consent for a further 70,000 sq ft of commercial units.
The park, which already provides around 400,000 sq ft of space, will also benefit from the creation of a new road linking it to the nearby A49.
Since changing hands, in February, 2008, the park has received £2m of new investment with a further £5m planned.
Gareth Riddell, of joint agents Riddelltps, said “These new units will enable Winwick Quay to cement its place as one of the North- West’s most successful business parks.
“Its excellent location on the A49 and lying directly off Junction 9 of the M62 means we have experienced record levels of interest and lettings despite the current economic climate. We can now add to the tenant mix by incorporating new trade counter uses along with our existing occupiers.”
