Liverpool web design firm creates free Baltic website

LIVERPOOL web design company Table4.com has created a free website for the Baltic Triangle business community, to help improve the area’s economic output.

More than 100 businesses in the Baltic Triangle are now listed on the online business directory which details all their services.

It allows people from within and outside the area to browse company profiles and search for the services they require.

The website was made possible after Table4 was introduced to Liverpool Business Associations (Liverpool BA) at a Liverpool Vision-sponsored event, which led to the two organisations combining their respective skills of web design and business networking to create the directory.

David Bullock, of Table4.com, based in the Baltic Triangle, said: “Our primary motivation for providing this free website is to increase our collective awareness of products and services that are available on our doorstep.

“Every business should consider local custom in their marketing plans and now everyone on this site can do this. We are encouraging users to contact us to help improve the site and make it more useful for all.”

The website, www.baltictrianglebc.co.uk, is simple to use and the home page lists every business within the area with each having their own personal company profile and contact details. Its creation follows the recent announcement of £5.2m funding for the area to develop a business centre designed to maximise economic opportunity for creative businesses in Liverpool city centre.

Tony Haines, from Liverpool BA, said:Š”This is a very valuable resource for business in the Baltic Triangle and we jumped at the chance in supporting Table4’s plans.

“I would urge all businesses to become involved to ensure it is as effective as possible – for the area and ultimately their business.”

Barry McGorry, senior development manager at Liverpool Vision, which is supporting the initiative, added: “Liverpool’s business centres provide dynamic and varied services and the Baltic Triangle is no exception.

“It is home to many flourishing businesses.”
